About the LFS series

The LFS series of detectors work in a very unique way. The combination of the following if installed correctly will dramatically reduce false alarms. The LFS series has been developed in conjuntion with Xtra - Sense Ltd.

Pressure: A minor deflection or deformation within the protected material.
Noise: High frequency stress changes within the protected material.
Heating: A significant semi-permanent or permanent deformation within the protected material.
Time: Each of the above action can have a time frame preset.
Gross Attack: Explosions or dramatic movement of protected material will cause two or more of the above to take place.


If a combination of any two of the first three take place, an alarm will be generated.


The only adjustment that can be made in the field is to the sensitivity. This cannot be switched off completely, therefore there is always a degree of detection.
